Nora Kilroy

Nora received her BA in English & Secondary Education from Mercer University in 1997 and her M.Ed. in College Student Personnel/Counseling from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2000. Nora worked as a Full Time Hall Director at James Madison University for two years before joining the Housing staff at UF in 2002. Nora worked as a Residence Director and Residence Life Coordinator during her two years with UF’s Housing Office. In 2004, Nora was selected as the first Director of Off Campus Life at UF. Nora truly enjoys working with off campus students because it allows her to educate students and work closely with the city of Gainesville community members and city staff. Nora loves being a Gainesville resident and especially enjoys the beautiful Florida weather and Gainesville parks.


Eliana Sammons

Gradaute Assistant, Graphic Design

Eliana is pursuing a Pro Masters with a specialization in Public Relations in the College of Journalism and Communications. She graduated from UF in the Spring of 2018 with a degree in Telecommunications and a minor in Anthropology. When she is not in school, she enjoys backpacking with her family and exploring local restaurants with her husband. The Ken Eats Gainesville blog has lead her to many exciting evenings and she is looking forward to getting more in touch with the Alachua county community during her time as a graduate student. 


Sarah Wood

Graduate Assistant, Social Media Marketing

Sarah is studying counselor education with a focus in school counseling. Sarah received her BA from N.C. State in communication with a concentration in public relations and a minor in journalism. Right after she graduated she had a communications internship with Communities in Schools of North Carolina for a year and then transitioned to teaching in the summer of 2013. For the next four years she was a middle school math teacher at two middle schools in North Carolina. She is happy to pursue a career in school counseling as she loves to work with students and help provide the resources they need to be successful. Sarah loves sports and cheering on the Wolfpack (GO PACK!) and she loves to cheer on the Gators as well. In addition to being a fan she loves to get outside and be active, learn new things and travel. Of all places to be in the world, her favorite place to be is the beach. 


Savannah Woodall

Graduate Assistant, Event Planning

Savannah is pursuing her master’s degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education with hopes to graduate in Spring 2020. Savannah received her B.S. from the University of Florida in Agricultural Education and Communication with a concentration in communication and leadership development and a minor in leadership in December 2017. Following graduation, she spent 8 months working in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering Dean’s Office which led her to find an interest in student affairs. She is passionate about people and leadership and finds great joy in helping others reach their goals. In her free time, Savannah enjoys traveling to new cities, exploring local restaurants, and spending time with her family.


Nathalie Perez

Student Employee

Nathalie is a senior undergrad pursuing her Bachelors in Sociology and Business Administration.  She is a proud member of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. and serves as their Parliamentarian, Service Chair, Historian, and Education Chair.  In her spare time, she enjoys trying new trendy food joints and going on nature trails.
